A Premier Equestrian Facility nestled in the midst of the Grosse Pointes of Michigan.

 

Offering excellence in dressage and jumping, our facility is set in the suburban community of Grosse Pointe, Michigan, conveniently close to I-94, and about an hour from the Dressage at Waterloo show grounds. Since its purchase in 2017, the former Grosse Pointe Hunt Club has undergone extensive renovation and additions. GPE offers a 50-stall barn, 26 paddocks, 2 indoor arenas & 3 outdoor arenas, each with GGT footing, including 2 full-size dressage arenas. Event facilities are also available.

Grosse Pointe Equestrian provides full service boarding, professional training options, and an excellent lesson program open to both boarders and non-boarders in the disciplines of dressage as well as jumping.

Boarding

Our facilities and services are designed and maintained with the needs of our boarders and their horses in mind. Our staff receives continued education in horse care and horse handling, and we pride ourselves in maintaining a first class facility with a friendly and professional atmosphere.

Riding Instruction & Training

We offer a number of carefully selected and trained school horses and offers lessons to students of all ages and levels in both jumping and dressage. Whether you are an experienced competitor, an outright beginner, or a former rider getting back in the saddle, our instructors and trainers can help you gain confidence, build a better relationship with your horse, advance your skills, and achieve your equestrian goals.

Shows & Clinics

We are excited to host a series of 6 shows in 2024 including a combination on hunter jumper and dressage. We also host a variety of riding clinics, exhibitions, and other educational equestrian events on a regular basis. Spectators are welcomed.

Event Spaces

We offer 2 newly renovated event rooms which are available to rent for either equestrian or non-equestrian events. Both have views of the indoor riding arenas, and are wonderfully unique places to hold virtually all special events from children’s birthday parties, to business meetings, to weddings.
